1. Coupons
Coupons are a very popular way to get items free. Stores and restaurants with rewards programs will often send out coupons on their app or website to get products for free or even get dollars off of your purchase. Another way to use coupons to get things free is by stacking multiple different coupons on one item to make it cost $0. See my article “Couponing for Beginners” linked below to learn more about couponing! https://sarahkwiatkowski.com/how-to-coupon-couponing-for-beginners/
2. Birthday Freebies
There are so many companies that will literally give you free stuff just because it’s your birthday! All you have to do is be signed up for their rewards program. These companies include IHOP, Yankee Candle, Sephora, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Ben & Jerry’s.
3. Free Samples
Sometimes when new products are released, companies will send out free samples to those wanting to try it, sometimes in exchange for a review of the item or just because they want people to try it out. There are legitimate websites where you can sign up to receive free samples when they’re available and there are plenty of pages on Facebook and Instagram dedicated to posting these freebies for everyone to get!
4. Writing to Companies
There is always the possibility if you write to a company to either complain or praise their product, they may send you coupons in return. Some companies that are known to do this include Angel Soft, Birds Eye, Burt’s Bees, Chobani, Energizer, and more.
5. Survey Sites
Lots of legitimate survey sites will give their participants the opportunity to test and review products. The really cool part about that, is that a lot of the time these products aren’t even on the market yet.
6. Buy Nothing Groups or Facebook Marketplace
One of the best parts of social media is the ability to find just about anything!
