These apps are ones that I personally use and have made hundreds of dollars on just by scanning my receipts from my regular monthly shopping trips. Keep in mind that each app is different in regards to cashing out and eligible receipts.
My Top 5 Receipt Apps
- Ibotta allows you to not only submit receipts for cash back but you can also shop online through the app to earn cash back on those purchases. The app is very simple to use, you click the offers you want to redeem at a store of your choosing and then shop for those said items and scan your receipt in the app. Once you reach $20 you can cash out directly to your bank account.
- Fetch is one of my favorite apps, all you have to do is scan your receipt, it’s as simple as that. You can also download games to play for points. Once you’ve accumulated enough points you can redeem them for e-gift cards to lots of stores and restaurants including Target, Walmart, Amazon, and many more.
- Amazon Shopper Panel is one of the best apps in my opinion because each month you have the opportunity to make $10 that goes straight to your amazon account on the first of the following month, no cash out necessary. They also offer occasional surveys so you can make more than $10 every month.
- Receipt Pal is another super easy to use app where all you do is take a photo of your reciept on the app and after you’ve accumulated enough points you can redeem for Amazon, Visa, or retail e-gift cards.
- Coinout is a simple app to earn points on, scan receipts, occasionally answer surveys if you want to, and you get plays to spin a slot machine for more bonus points. You can redeem your points for Amazon and retail/restaurant e-gift cards or a payout from Venmo.
Conclusion
Scanning receipts isn’t a get rich quick scheme but it adds up and can really help when you’re strapped for cash and can redeem a gift card to help with whatever you need to buy or to just treat yourself to something nice without having to sacrifice something else. For my daughter’s first birthday party, I bought over $100 worth of decorations and stuff off of Amazon for $0 out of pocket because I cashed out on my receipt apps. You don’t have to do anything extra to earn this free money other than taking the time to scan your receipts from stores and gas stations. What are you waiting for?
